An index has been compiled of entries relating to the Great War in the St Neots Advertiser for the years 1914 to 1919. There are overy 16,000 entries and the index is still being added to and corrected. A microfilm copy of the newspaper can been read at St Neots Library.

Edith Bonham was a nurse at the Red Cross Hospital in Eaton Socon during the first part of the First World War.
She kept a notebook and in it some of the soldiers in the hospital wrote about their experiences. There is also a list of the soldiers and their wounds.
